My nose is runny, my throat is itchy, and I've been sneezing more in the past few days than in the past year. I actually sneezed five times without stopping while I was home. And as I type, I sneezed again and blew my nose.

Since the beginning of the term I'm hella proud to say I've been doing everything on time. Except for that tutorial list Kevin wanted me to type (but will not be printing yet anyway, and is done for the meantime for that matter). I've even gotten the books and readings, and, get this, have been reviewing notes before the meetings. Hot dang. I love feeling responsible. It feels the emptiness that's been bothering me quite effectively, with great aftereffects (like a non-existent pile of procrastinated work). Now I just have to keep the itch to finish all that is unfinished itchy.

There's much to scratch, anyway: a thesis proposal draft based on today's discussion with Dr. Lua, readings, and keybie orders. Hootenanny, hopefully this term I'll get that DL status I've been telling myself I was capable of acquiring since I stepped in Lasalle.

And ooh, Ima be more Malate-present. And work on my story. I like to dream.

There's even Caboose to help me as long as I'm in Lasalle, and he's even equipped with Crimsonland now thanks to Ivik (thanks man! You've resurrected the addict in me! XD) for when Wifi is wonky. *happy wiggles*

Even though I felt my brain die yesterday (and as a result felt incredibly stupid) it was a happy afternoon, and though none of my *cough* intended plans went according to plan (still feeling stupid) I intend to make up for it, even if it kills me (and whatever remains of my brain.

Yesterday had dinner at Rocky's with his family, and we enjoyed roast beef, mashed potatoes, and Bagel. The roast beef was tasty, the mashed potatoes was creamy, and the Bagel did tricks! Rocky didn't think he was going to get a cake, until his family surprised him with one after he got all gloomy.

Then his friends surprised him with a party. If I didn't have a curfew I'd have been able to surprise him too, but alas. I could not participate in a surprise I knew about. At least I made sure Rocky was out of the house while his friends set up. Blah. I'm just making myself feel better :P

Now it's his dad's bday (twas his lolo's last wednesday) and unfortunately, though we originally planned to hang out this afternoon, there was a change in plan.

I broke the upstairs TV, and now my family hates me. It was in his and my best interest that he did not come over. Nyuu.

In better news...

I

HAVE

MY

LAPTOP!!

*sniffs* So... Happy...

I shall call him Caboose.
