After a week, out of four dragon eggs, only one survived. Who'd have thought it needed 450+ views?

It's now a little black dragon hatchling I've named Ryuji, coz it's black. And a warrior species, apparently. And I love my character.

I read warrior bit from his parents' bio. Little thing takes after its dad.

Now, if Ryuji turns out to be a girl, than dang. I can't tell until it matures though.

That said, I still need help. Ryuji will die if still not clicked on, so...

Adopt one today!

Please click my baby! :D

Thank you!

Ahaha. Yes, dragon eggs.

After neopets, I didn't I'd feel anything fun about the idea of virtual pets, particularly the web kind.

But then, after checking these out from a deviantart account's page... I have to say I like the idea. Not to mention, the mature dragons just look awesome.

Hell, they were awesome enough to reel me in.

Basically, you grab an egg the moment a set shows up on the page, and if you're lucky enough to have snatched it first, since several grab-happy people will also be around, post it somewhere and have people click it.

If it gets enough clicks, it'll hatch.

And so, voila. After multiple refreshes and clicks, I managed to grab...

Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

These babies.

Do me a favor, and click away! :D I'm dying to find out what they look like. Especially the pink one. I wasn't being choosy, what with a dial-up connection and all.

Thanks to everyone who gave their recommendations! :D so far, I've canvassed at more stores and these are the new packages I've got that omitted all Linux and the word Celeron, which narrowed down the search considerably:

My basic requirements are just the following:

1. Must be Mini. I want it handy, considering my bag's always filled with books and papers and... stuff. Investment na sakin yun... besides. I'm Mini. Yay.
2. Must be able to work with Microsoft files. My main use will be for papers, presentations, blahdebby. Basta kailangan Microsoft compatible.
3. If possible, but not necessarily a demand since I know the small size is that much of a limitation, can be installed with Photoshop. That'd be so cool.
4. Wifi. Yay again.

HALP MEH! *cough*

I'm thinking about buying a mini-laptop, and my mum's already scouted for some potentials. It'd be the first major investment I shell out money on. :P

However, like with many other things in life, I don't have a clue whether these models are good for their prices, or what they do, exactly.

I mean, what does an Intel Celeron ULV 900MHz processor... mean?

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, given my obvious lack of techiness, I'm calling for help. I admit ignorance. I'm waving my white flag.

So far I've got two potentials, but I'd like to see whether they meet my needs. I just want a laptop I can type papers on, use wifi with, and any other extras I can squeeze in.

These are the ones I find to my liking:

Asus EEE PC 701 4G Notebook
Php 16,800.00

Intel Celeron ULV 900MHz processor
Intel MObile chipset, 7" WXGA
512MB DDR2 memory
WIFI, Wired LAN
3X USB, VGA-out, Mic-in. Line-out
Built-in Webcam
Linux OS
Linux OpenOffice.org
Weighs 0.91 kgs
Pouch, charger, battery included

Asus EEE PC 701
Php 15,500.00

ULV 900MHZ
Intel Mobile Chipset
512MB DDR2 memory
7" WXGA Screen
Intel UMA Graphics
4GB Flash MEmory HDD
Wifi, Webcam, 3xUSB port

I think the first one sounds better, but what do you think? And if anyone's got any suggestions, lemme hear em.
