Even though I felt my brain die yesterday (and as a result felt incredibly stupid) it was a happy afternoon, and though none of my *cough* intended plans went according to plan (still feeling stupid) I intend to make up for it, even if it kills me (and whatever remains of my brain.

Yesterday had dinner at Rocky's with his family, and we enjoyed roast beef, mashed potatoes, and Bagel. The roast beef was tasty, the mashed potatoes was creamy, and the Bagel did tricks! Rocky didn't think he was going to get a cake, until his family surprised him with one after he got all gloomy.

Then his friends surprised him with a party. If I didn't have a curfew I'd have been able to surprise him too, but alas. I could not participate in a surprise I knew about. At least I made sure Rocky was out of the house while his friends set up. Blah. I'm just making myself feel better :P

Now it's his dad's bday (twas his lolo's last wednesday) and unfortunately, though we originally planned to hang out this afternoon, there was a change in plan.

I broke the upstairs TV, and now my family hates me. It was in his and my best interest that he did not come over. Nyuu.

After a whole July of waiting and checking up on HP to see is the mini-note I wanted was available... I was *this* to close giving up hope that I'd ever get a laptop and a little less closer to wasting 5k to buy the more expensive version (the difference being it carried Vista instead of Linux).

Thank God though, coz I found something better that I wouldn't have had the chance of buying had I gone ahead with the mini-note.

Specs are pretty good, considering the price (18,888 Php). Mum's IT friend told her about it, and when we can we'll look for suppliers who carry it. YAY! Plus I found out today that there'll be a release of version with even larger specs this September. Dunno if I can wait that long, but being patient's been working out fine so far. I'll be comparing specs when I gets em ^^
